Post for 5/21

Today we went out to LU school and deployed 14 of the machines we had set up. I also imaged a few more machines and setup a 2012 server to use for the deployment. It will provide DHCP, DNS and the windows deployment server. We will have it on it's own network, separate form the rest of the network to avoid DHCP issues. We got a new 48 port gigabit managed switch which I will start configuring friday. We will have 2 separate vlans on it, one for the private network, and one that is part of the main network so the imaged machines can have internet access and get updates and join the domain. We will have two cables going to each machine, one for each network. After the machine has been imaged on the private network we will switch the cable so it can join the domain and have internet access.
